- Day Four -
The Skill Your Sims are Most Commonly Learning
IRL, I'm a pretty miserable photographer; probably because I have little experience with it (as well as owning a horrible horrible camera), so I guess you could say that my sims are always 'living my dream' of actually being able to use a camera.
At the same time, I ALWAYS find that there's something going on I want to photograph, but--ACK--the only sim in the family with the Photography skill is the one I want to take the photo of!!
The solution: ALL my Sims are photographers, now. Yes. I cheat. I've legitimately gotten the Photography skill to max on 6 Sims; I ain't doing it again. They also all get nice cameras. Spoiled Sims are Spoiled! ;D
I think this one would be pretty obvious though, considering how much I love cluttering my houses with picture frames. I LOVE taking pictures in-game. I can never have enough!

I hear you on having all your sims as photographers. It makes it so much easier.
I feel like a doofus but is there like a cheat to get the beater camera? lol For the life of me I cannot find it at the bookstore or the grocery store. This is even if my sim has the skill maxed out.
:)
It does! I still have a couple sims that aren't, but it's only like... Travis and a couple others, who have no business with a camera. XD Haha.
There is! If you go into 'BuyDebug', under the Misc category you can find the Uber Gladiator camera. It's like, the third-to-last item or something! Pricey, but worth it.
Oh cool, thanks. My simmies will be set now!
Hahaha too if I ever see Travis with a camera. :D
I love your pictures so much!!!
You're welcome, Jen!
And thank you, Christina!! <3 I feel like a bit of a noob in comparison to you, though! Still, I aim to always do better, and that's what counts, right? ^^
Oh this looks so cool!! I love it ;D <333
Hehehe, thanks! :D <333! I've been having way too much fun in photoshop, apparently!
:) I kind of go off photography ever time it's a cause of my game glitching.
My Sims usually learn charisma. I love it when they can make friends in just a few hours once they are good at it.
See, I'm the *exact* opposite. In fact, Charisma bugs me for the same reason you like it--you just make friends way too darn fast! It's rather unrealistic, as well as makes sorting the relationship bar a nightmare by the time my sims are YAs... which is at ~200 days.
The only times I ever ever pick up Charisma is if it's for a career, and even then... D;
But, at least now I know hideheadlineeffects turns off the skill bubble, because that was my *biggest* peeve with Charisma for the longest time.
Always amazes me how many glitches like that you get in your game. XD I have twice as many mods, a mound of CC, and the biggest problem I have is a bit of lag. XD
XD Nonsense! (lol kaleeko's nonsense..) I'm quite the amateur photoshop-er. I learn something new just about every time I'm in there and I'm sure there are things about it that you know and I don't, and vice versa :D
I love your photos. They make your houses so homey.
My sims usually learn painting. I like decorating their houses with their own paintings. Since I restarted the game, I've decided to go after fishing and gardening. They're especially good for loner sims. Plus, I like making ambrosia and leaving gobs of it in the cemetary. I just sit back and watch the ghosts fight over it.
Thank you, Chrysame! <3
Painting was a close runner up for me; I looove the Sim-created art, too.
I agree, fishing and gardening would be great for loner sims! LOL--That is a hilaaarrious idea. Poor ghosts, though. XD
I have a soft spot for loner sims. Probably because it's one of my traits.
Another fun thing to do is make a bunch of ambrosia, have a party and scatter it throughout the house. Lots of people doing the Ambrosia rainbow sparkly dance. I like the randomness of it. Who will get the prize and find the fountain of youth!
I don't know about my glitches vs others. You hear about them a bit but I can play a lot for a long time with none.
You do have lovely photos.
Oh, and if my Sims lived anything as long as yours, I'd prlly hate charisma too. They'd make too many friends.
I do also love having them learn art of some sort. Painting, music, sculpture. All good.
