- Day Eleven -
Favorite Sim Living in your Neighborhood that You Did Not Create

This is Marta Tomasi: flirty, kleptomaniac, handy, athletic, charismatic. She's been featured in many blogs--as have her offspring--but, in my universe, she's the crafty right-hand woman in Jebidiah Kane's empire of evil. She swindles money and she swindles hearts--but in her hands, who wouldn't fall to pieces? She's quite the foxy lady.

I haven't gotten to feature her as much as I would like to--because she's a VERY fun sim and actually quite important to Jeb--but unfortunately the opportunities to do so are few and far between. Still, I was never as excited to install a Sim into my game as I was to install Marta. The wittiness of her "Original", aka the blog written about her by her creator, made her too irresistable!

And of course, Marta's creator is none other than the lovely Chrysame! (Though, I did take the liberty to give her a bit of a makeover for these shots!)

Oh dear, that idea adds a whole new scope to the question. I was mentally framing it strictly as 'what pre-made EA Sim', which is wrong.

Gack, now I have to go ponder....

Haha, yeah. ^^ As long as you didn't make it, it works! I did try to think of an EA sim that I like, but there really is only Emerald and even she doesn't compare with the player-made sims I have.

I was relatively tempted to use Meredith or Alesha, since I didn't make either of them either, but that would've been cheap of me.

Very cool. She looks like a handful, for sure!

Wait wait, you didn't make Meredith? *slow* Where did she come from then?

Unknown April 25, 2011 at 5:21 PM

@Christina: She really is! I wish Chrysame's original blog was still up, because it really showed how awesome Miss Marta is. ^^

@Amelia: Nope! If you've played Riverview, you might know of a couple that live up on a hill in an old spinsterly house--Aiden and Hannah Jones; Meredith and Tana were both born from them with the help of Story Progression, much like Alesha came from Eva/Shamus. I had no hand in their looks, traits, or lives growing up. :)

Aw Shucks. *blushes and scuffs the floor with her shoe* Thanks, Kaleeko. Marta is a dickens. She's handy for no reason other than to toss that wrench around.

It's wonderful to see her bopping around your blog and causing trouble. I have to say, when you write her I can almost hear the purr. Which cracks me up because she has such a high pitched Betty Boop voice in game. My blog is gone but I still have Marta on the exchange.

Thanks, Kaleeko!

Hahaha--Marta is amazingly awesome. I do laugh every time I hear her voice, but I dunno... It is very cat-like! Like she's meowing at people. ^^ She's always been such a blast to write, I'll have to see if I can find ways to continue to work her into the story.

I do love her and her wrench--though, I always picture her handiness come in nicely when she's cracking safes. ;)

She sounds super. And I mean super!

'..she'll break your heart and your bank account.' LOL All male sims beware!
Oh and didn't she have a thing for Jeb a little while ago? I seem to recall....

She iisssss! She's such an exotic looking sim, too--those shots, as pretty as they are, don't do her uniquer features justice.

Aahahaha. XD Yeeaah, she kinda did! She'd just had a divorce and needed some company, but he turned her down. She wasn't too put out by it, though--plenty of fish in the sea. She's got herself a keeper now, too. ;)

What is this Nonsense?!

This here be a blog for the writer of Desperate Sims to talk about things not-so-story related. Real life, writing, other Simmy stuff, yada yada. If you're confused... Sorry! D;
