- Day Fifteen -
The Aspiration/Wants/Fears Your Sims Most Commonly Have
There isn't a specific one I use the most, though; at this point, I haven't repeated any LTW's that I can recall--at least, not within my family--so I had to pick a more broad category.
I actually tend to prefer the Skill LTW's, though, because I feel 'locked in' with Careers; I can't change my mind about their job until they max it, and that irks me a bit. Not that that's really stopped me; I mean, if you look at Jebidiah Kane, he's maxed three careers so far...
(But, at least with my long lifespans I do use SP's settings to increase the difficulty on career advancement, as well as have a mod installed that makes it more difficult to get Sims in good moods. It doesn't even things out, but at least it's not TOTAL easy mode. XD )

:) skill ones are good. They can take a little time and effort but not bad.
If it hadn't been for Sam, I don't know what LTW I could claim as most used. I think more the skill and self-employed ones though, not careers. :)
I think you are cheating just a little claiming Jeb has maxed 3 careers. Cause aren't two of them the different branches of Criminal - and he didn't start that one at the bottom the second time around?
Eh--time and effort are pretty moot with my current age spans, which is why it's not really cheating claiming Jeb maxed 3 careers... He skipped the first 4 levels of Criminal the second time around, which is a grand total of 4 days out of 200 as an adult.
I wasn't making a pronouncement of "Oh wow, look what he accomplished!", I was just making a point that I have no problems switching my Sims careers for the furthering of the plot. :P So... not sure how that's cheating? Just stating a fact about my playstyle.
When you play as long as Kaleeko, your sims can achieve pretty much anything without cheating. They've certainly got enough time!
I'm sorry, I'm really not doing well commenting here. I seem to tick you off unintended every time. I think I should stop.
XD I'm not ticked off, you just misunderstood me, so I'm clarifying?
That and it's strange to say that's cheating when that's like... the slightest form of cheating I may have ever enacted, and it wasn't even my fault? ;D lol...
Aaaaanyways, it's not that big of a deal. Was just O.o'ing!
Ok, I didn't really mean cheat cheat. It's just that it was the same basic career with the same basic set of skills. Not three careers as in Sports, Crim and cop...
And true, you did not ask Jeb to be a crook again. :)
Haha yeah, I get what you meant--I'm just trying to explain that that's a moot point, because I wasn't referencing the 'he accomplished so much!' but the 'I have no problem switching a Sims career once it's maxed!' thing. Otherwise Jeb would've never become a PI, or gotten back into crime. I don't feel the need to tie a Sim to one profession. XD
Yeah, SP was definitely a brat for switching him while I was outta the house--but it definitely worked out for the best.
:) I'm just being extra dense.
Jeb getting switched certainly gave the blog a new turn.
Love your pics! This is excellnte~
Mad Scientist Kaleeko cracks me up! Awesome!!
ee I love your pictures.
I have never maxed out a career in TS3. Only in TS2, my self-sim made it up to the top of the Art career (naturally) and she got a really cool camera!
lol
