The 10 Day Meme: Day Nine

>> Sunday, February 27, 2011

Well, today's been 'one of those days'. I think I strengthened a friendship in a really profound way, but at the same time it only came about because of circumstances I wish I didn't have to experience. It's hard to explain without a certain amount of ambiguity. But, suffice it to say that as good as some things are, between tonight and today I could use a solid pick-me-up.

But for now, I shall try to get one step closer to finishing this 10 day thing turned 40+ day thing, and with that, I offer the second-to-last topic:

Day Nine
Two smileys that describe your life right now.

So, this is challenging. Smiley's aren't exactly a good way of explaining anything--and I was tempted to draw something instead to be a bit more clear--but, I did a bit of searching and I decided on two that are actually pretty darn close to scratching the surface.

Behold:

Smiley and Smiley

Granted, I'm thinking about them a bit more philisophically than their makers probably intended them.

Short post, but, that's fine. I'm not much in the mood for writing tonight. Love you all, though.

Cheers.

This one is an interesting meme. Your right about smileys not being a good way of describing something. I find depending on which smiley someone users it can sometimes be taken the wrong way or out of context. lol

I hope your mood lifts soon. It's no fun feeling down. :)

Yeah, smilies can be really hard to interpret.. But sometimes they can also help make text communication a little be easier--like understanding when someone's just joking or whatever. Still, it's funny how something so simple can be so complicated.

In this case though, the first smiley is meant to signify my loss of innocence, and the second how I kind of feeling like I'm just piddling around boredly. Guess that's just growing up, I suppose. :)

Thanks. <3 I'm feeling better today, that's for sure. Definitely no fun feeling the opposite!

Lol, I was thinking different way when I saw the angelic smiley. Good to know that you're feeling better.

What is this Nonsense?!

This here be a blog for the writer of Desperate Sims to talk about things not-so-story related. Real life, writing, other Simmy stuff, yada yada. If you're confused... Sorry! D;
