The Sound and the Fury!

The day finally came--I have a horse from Equus Sims!! *dance*

Although I obviously love Dusty Dame quite a lot, the future of my story depends on having two horses; and since I am terrible at making horses but want the very best for Margo, I ogled so hard at the AMAZING work from Christina/Rachel that they finally gave me one of theirs, hahaha. ^-^

So: meet LEC The Sound and the Fury! She's an Arabian mare with the Ornery, Playful, and Untrained traits (and I plan on making sure she ends up with 'Noisy' too, since it would only suit her name!)--I imagine she'll be quite a handful for Margo, but that's how I like it!

I seriously cannot express how in love I am with this little gal. Fury's coloring is an exquisite composite of her parents--essentially Mojito with spots... and we all know how much I love spots!! Someday, she's going to become Margo's show horse--so for anything competitive in the Sims Equine community, she'll be my go-to pony.

Now, "someday" is the operative word. I obviously can't discuss how/when she'll enter Desperate Sims without exposing too much of what will happen this upcoming Season, but she won't appear for a while yet. This saddens me greatly, because I really really love her!!

Anyways, I won't inundate this with text (no one prolly reads it anyways, lol), so instead, here's a ton of pictures I took of her!

So, this is hilarious. XD It's come to most horse creator's attention that this stupid box exists on horses with colored hooves. It's fairly easy to edit out of pics (I forgot to edit it out on some of these tho, woops!), but still seriously annoying.

To express my abhorence to it, here's a picture of Margo looking at it with her 'WTF' expression. ^^

<hr>

Yours Truly, Margo is going to be going live sometime within the next couple of weeks (like, right as soon as Season 7 is finished), so I've been doing lots and lots of practice perfecting the way Margo's photography looks.

The process involves background blurring, tinting towards the red end of the spectrum, giving a vintage glaze to the image, film grain, and lens flare where applicable. I don't think it looks as similar to vintage photography as I'd like it to, but this is the only style I've found that I feel looks good on *all* the screenshots I take--so, works for me!

So, here's some of the previous images updated with her photography style:

If you wanna be ready for YTM when it goes live, either follow Yours Truly, Margo on Blogspot or Yours Truly, Margo on Tumblr (or both! the Tumblr version will probably have more content, though).

What is this Nonsense?!

This here be a blog for the writer of Desperate Sims to talk about things not-so-story related. Real life, writing, other Simmy stuff, yada yada. If you're confused... Sorry! D;
