Hap-py Father's Day~!

... To my mostly child-free readerbase! Hurrhurr. ^-^ Still, this is one of those holidays I really enjoy celebrating anyways, because it's secular and reminds me of all the wonderful times I had growing up with my Dad. Holidays that remind me to thank the people who made me who I am--well, to be thankful at *all*--really ring true with me. And it is so, so hard to be a parent. Especially my parent. Haha...

In any case, after I got Generations I put these together, to show just how good a dad Brad is despite his Grumpy, Horrible Sense of Humor'd, Nerdy self. Kinda like my own Dad. <333 (Also as an excuse to use these pose packs... >.> )

Engage!

Yay for happy family... ^-^ Definitely the only one in Desperate Sims right, now, heh!

Also, here's some shots of the renovations I made various places with the help of Gen's new stuff (wee!):

You guessed it--Margo's bedroom! Soo much puuurrpple....

Korva's 'Deep Sea' nursery... ^-^

You've seen this slightly before, but, this is the patio I added on to the side of the house

And some additions/changes to the back yard--bye bye, makeshift treehouse~
Veronica and Penelope Grant's bedroom--not sure how much it'll appear in the Series, but wanted to show it anyways
Obie kabie, that's all the pics I have for now!

NOTE: Desperate Sims just has *two* episodes left to go up before this season is finished--when that will happen I'm not sure, though, as I've been really busy this last week and now that I have Generations I am sooo distraacctted... It'll be soon, though! :D

Cheers!

Weeeee, I love these shots you've taken!

Brad looks super spunky with the new do! Alesha seems to be getting prettier and prettier. She really looks so lovely!
Margo is just the cutest and so is Kora. Love Kora's expression when she's on the play horse thingy. Hee hee.

And fabulous job on the reno's of the kids rooms too. I love purple too, it's such a happy warm color.

Looks like your having a real ball with the new EP, Kaleeko. I still haven't installed mine yet. lol
I've got a few adult-like chapters to write first then I think I'll give it go! ;)

Nice pics. I can see you and generations are having a lot of fun.

:) a bedroom for Veronica and Penelope Grant...goodness me, do you think I might know them? Poor girls, I did redecorate a lot when the twins were born but they haven't had a good redecorate since.

@Jen:

Glad you like the new hairs! I had fun trying to pick out what I was going to give Alesha--it was really hard to see how pretty she was behind the pigtails, but honestly, she's such a pretty sim. IMO, anyways.

Korva's hilarious yeah, lol--but Margo takes the cake on cuteness. Even when she turns into a frumpy teenager she's still really cute. XD

Install it!!1! It's a great EP. Even the non-kid stuff is really great; though tbh, there's not as much of it. Still, definitely worth it. ;)

@PiB:

We certainly are! :D I haven't been able to crack open my game the last couple of days but I plan to do so again and do some hardcore playing once I've got everything else wrapped up.

I'm glad the girls had compatible favorite colors, otherwise that bedroom might've been a nightmare--or at least I'd have had to go with something different. Admittedly, it's more fun to redecorate when they're young, but I always love a good makeover. ^-^

What is this Nonsense?!

This here be a blog for the writer of Desperate Sims to talk about things not-so-story related. Real life, writing, other Simmy stuff, yada yada. If you're confused... Sorry! D;
